Connect to Viewpoint Vista with Tenklo and see data flow in 2 minutes.
In Tenklo (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Viewpoint Vista.
Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then enter your Application Key and Subscriber Code. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.
Let's make your first request to the Viewpoint Vista API (list cached vendors). Replace the placeholders below with your Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID. <SUBSCRIBER_CODE> is the Subscriber Code you entered when authorizing the connection — fetch it from the connection's connection_config via the Node SDK or API if you don't have it handy:

Viewpoint Vista's native database does not expose a REST API — data access normally happens over a direct SQL Server connection, which Tenklo cannot proxy. This integration targets the Trimble Xchange Direct API, an optional HTTP layer that some Vista installs expose (subscriber-based, X-Application-Key auth). Confirm with your Vista administrator that Xchange is provisioned for your subscriber before connecting.
