Pocket

Integrate your application with the Pocket API

🚀 Quickstart

Connect to Pocket with Tenklo and see data flow in 2 minutes.

Create the integration

In Tenklo (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Pocket.

Authorize Pocket

Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then enter your API key. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.

Call the Pocket API

Let's make your first request to the Pocket API (list recordings). Replace the placeholders below with your Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID:

curl "https://api.tenklo.dev/proxy/v1/public/recordings?page=1&limit=5" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <NANGO-API-KEY>" \
  -H "Provider-Config-Key: <INTEGRATION-ID>" \
  -H "Connection-Id: <CONNECTION-ID>"

Or fetch credentials with the Node SDK or API.

✅ You're connected! Check the Logs tab in Tenklo to inspect requests.

Implement Tenklo in your app

🚨 API Gotchas

  • Pocket wraps responses in a { success, data, pagination } envelope.
  • GET /v1/public/recordings filters by UTC date only (start_date/end_date as YYYY-MM-DD) and paginates with page/limit (max 100); there is no updated-after cursor.
  • Personal API keys read only their owner's recordings, and personal-key responses omit the recorded_by object (organization keys, created under Organization settings, can list organization recordings instead).
  • Fetch full transcripts and summaries per recording with GET /v1/public/recordings/{id}?include_transcript=true&include_summarizations=true.
