Rapid7
Integrate your application with the Rapid7 API
🚀 Quickstart
Connect to Rapid7 with Tenklo and see data flow in 2 minutes.
In Tenklo (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Rapid7.
Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then select your region and enter your API key. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.
Let's make your first request to the Rapid7 API to validate your API key. Replace the placeholders below with your Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID:
curl "https://api.tenklo.dev/proxy/validate" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer <NANGO-API-KEY>" \
-H "Provider-Config-Key: <INTEGRATION-ID>" \
-H "Connection-Id: <CONNECTION-ID>"Or fetch credentials with the Node SDK or API.
✅ You're connected! Check the Logs tab in Tenklo to inspect requests.
Follow our quickstart to integrate Tenklo in your app.

API gotchas
- Tenklo sends requests to
https://<region>.api.insight.rapid7.com. Each product API has its own path under that host, for example/idr/v1/investigationsfor InsightIDR. See the product API list. - A user key has the same permissions as the user who created it. An organization key can access every product in the organization.
