Garmin (OAuth2)
Integrate your application with the Garmin Connect Developer Program API using OAuth2
🚀 Quickstart
Connect to Garmin with OAuth2 and see data flow in 2 minutes.
In Tenklo (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Garmin (OAuth2).
Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then log in to Garmin. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.
Make your first request to the Garmin API (fetch the connected user's API user ID). Replace the placeholders below with your Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID:
curl "https://api.tenklo.dev/proxy/wellness-api/rest/user/id" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer <NANGO-API-KEY>" \
-H "Provider-Config-Key: <INTEGRATION-ID>" \
-H "Connection-Id: <CONNECTION-ID>"Or fetch credentials with the Node SDK or API.
✅ You're connected! Check the Logs tab in Tenklo to inspect requests.
Follow our Auth implementation guide to integrate Tenklo in your app.
To obtain your own production credentials, follow the setup guide linked below.

- How to register your own Garmin OAuth2 app
Register an OAuth2 app with Garmin and obtain credentials to connect it to Tenklo.
Official docs: Garmin Connect Developer Program
Legacy OAuth1 provider: Garmin
API gotchas
- Garmin Connect Developer Program apps use OAuth 2.0 with PKCE (
S256). Use this provider for new Garmin connections. The existinggarminprovider remains OAuth1 for legacy connections.
