🚀 Quickstart

Connect to Discogs with Tenklo and see data flow in 2 minutes.

In Tenklo (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Discogs. Enter the consumer key and consumer secret of your Discogs app (see the setup guide below).

Authorize Discogs

Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then log in to Discogs. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.

Call the Discogs API

Let's make your first request to the Discogs API (fetch the authenticated user's identity). Replace the placeholders below with your Environment API key, integration ID, and connection ID:

API gotchas

Discogs uses OAuth 1.0a (not OAuth 2), with the PLAINTEXT signature method.
Discogs requires a unique User-Agent header on every API request. Tenklo sets one automatically for proxy requests.
Discogs rate limits authenticated requests to 60 per minute per user. Check the X-Discogs-Ratelimit-Remaining response header.
For single-user scripts, you can use a Discogs personal access token instead of OAuth.
