How to register your own Outline OAuth app
Register an OAuth app with Outline and connect it to Tenklo
This guide shows you how to register your own app with Outline to obtain your OAuth credentials (Client ID & Client Secret). These are required to let your users grant your app access to their Outline account.
In Outline, click your workspace name, then go to Settings -> Applications.
Click New App….
Fill in the application details
- Client type — leave this on Confidential, Tenklo stores the client secret securely on your behalf.
- Name — an identifier for this app, shown to users on the consent screen.
- Tagline — a short description of what the app does (optional).
- Callback URLs — add
https://api.tenklo.dev/oauth/callback, one URL per line.
Click Create, then open the app to copy its Client ID and Client Secret.
