Navan - How do I link my account?
Overview
To authenticate with Navan, you need:
- Environment — the Navan environment your credentials were issued for.
- Client ID and Secret Key — the credentials of a Navan API client.
This guide will show you how to get them.
Prerequisites
- A Navan administrator account.
Step 1: Create API credentials
- Log in to Navan as an administrator.
- Go to Travel > Settings > Integrations.
- In the Navan API Credentials section, click Create New.
- Copy the Client ID and Secret Key.
Navan only shows the Secret Key once. Save it somewhere secure before leaving the page.
Step 2: Select your environment
Navan credentials only work in the environment they were issued for. Select the matching Environment:

Step 3: Enter your credentials in the Connect UI
- Open the form where you need to authenticate with Navan.
- Select your Environment, then enter your Client ID and Secret Key.
- Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
You are now connected to Navan.
